I have been a fan of Tasha Noel's fabric designs for years! Her whimsical style and carefree illustrations are just so happy and absolutely adorable! Many fabric collections tell a story and Tasha's fabric remind of me sweet, innocent childhood memories...playing in the sunshine, the smell of freshly-cut grass, and picking flowers (and yes...dandelions are flowers in my world). ;)
Today begins the "Sweet and Simple" sew-along! I couldn't be more excited and I had soooo much fun designing the quilt (click here to visit the Riley Blake blog, download the free pattern and join the sew-along!). For my project on the Simple Goodness blog tour, I thought it would be fun to create a companion project of sorts...a free pillow cover pattern featuring some of my favorite pink and white fabrics in the collection!
The pillow cover is called "Vintage Hankie" and was inspired by all things girly and vintage. The main part of the hankie makes a fun playground for large prints to shine and the "scalloped" edges of the hankie just give it that extra girly, vintage touch. My free pattern is available here!
I absolutely can't wait to see what you all create with this adorable, new fabric collection! Thank you for stopping by the blog today and may the rest of your day be filled with sunshine!

Tasha Noel's newest line, "Simple Goodness", is everything we love the most about her fabrics plus some of the most amazing basics and staples that we all need in our stash! Tiny florals, large florals, blenders, and THE most amazing bias stripes (what my binding dreams are made of!)
